Best tour guide I have ever seen. Witty directions with descriptions that help decide what part of the park you have time and energy to see. I wish I could download this for every road I drive on.

This more than met our expectations. Not only does it track your driving and tell you whats coming up, but it gives you information about it. It tells you about must stops about how long it will take but also gives you other suggestions. If that wasnt enough it even gives you history about the park, the animals, and geology. I am so thankful I found this. You do have to download it before you go. There is basically no service inside Yellowstone. The app fully downloads the map and all the data it needs to run without cell or data reception. Cant say it enough how much this increased our enjoyment of the park.

My kids loved this app the first time we got to the first check point. Not far down the road my kids started to call the app "Bob the Ranger" All in All it was the best money spent in the whole vacation. I seriously recommend this app and Bob the Ranger.

We really liked having the commentary and recommendations as we drove around the park. We already had several hikes planned but the comments added to our enjoyment and the suggestions added some much needed stops on the long drives.

We enjoyed the commentary and recommendations. The GPS feature made it easy to find the locations as we were driving around. Only issue is a technical bug that caused the sound to keep going out while we had the iPhone 6 plugged into the car audio system.

This was a great buy - it just started speaking when we needed it. Loved the background and recommendations - we saw so much more than we would have - there were times when we were just heading back to our camp when it would suggest just one more turn out to see something - we would take it and Yellowstone would reveal even more beauty. It took us a while to get the app to play through our car sound system - our iPad or car plays music automatically when we connect them, not the app. This is an intermittent problem we also have with talking books, so its not this app which is doing it - but you may have to juggle connections as we did.

You will simply not find a negative review for this app. The technology is just amazing. The commentary is professional, informative and entertaining. We have been to Yellowstone before with a two day private guide. Everything we learned on that trip was included in this app and more. The fact it follows you and knows where you are is just fascinating. It took all the guesswork out of the trip. I recommend it to everyone. We are planning our next trip around this app!

Worth EVERY penny for sure!!!!!

I bought this app last minute before going to Yellowstone. Important: get a cell phone charger before you start the drive. We got one at Yellowstone or else the battery would have gone dead. Buying this app was the best decision I made. I am the designated navigator while my husband drives. This app let me enjoy the views (while he was driving) instead of looking at a map and travel guides! My husband also loved the app because there was lots of historical and animal facts that we both could listen to. He didnt have to hear my voice the whole drive reading stuff to him! The app was only $4.99. The narration comes through your cell phone. And GPS is used so you always know where you are and when the important stops are coming up. The guide even tells you where to park. You can repeat narration whenever you want. We did the entire Yellowstone in 2 days efficiently because of app.

Must have app for touring Yellowstone. Works flawlessly. Humorous, highly informative narratives that really help understand whats going on around you. Buy this app, really, seriously!

We loved this app; using it greatly enhanced our experience of YNP. The automatic commentary was informative and entertaining. We took at least two brief side trips we would not have without the app. and as a result saw some amazing falls/cascades. While it does not eat your data plan, the app is a power hog, so be sure to have a charger with you. Buy it!

If youre going to Yellowstone and want to explore in your own pace, this is the thing! Gave us tips on some side-roads we otherwise would have missed for sure. Really nice narration and always interesting information.

Purchased the app before entering Yellowstone and found it to be very helpful. We enjoyed the commentary throughout the park. Did have a problem with the App activating automatically during the tour but just activated it manually and worked fine. Directions were great. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Just finished up 2 days in Yellowstone and couldnt have done it without this app. It was like having a private tour guide. We saw things we might not have seen because of it. No matter where you start on the Grand Loop, the tour starts there. This app works through your GPS system and does not use cell phone data. We ran it through the blue tooth audio in our car, which was even better. Id advise making sure you have a cell phone charger because it will drain you phone battery. We are so impressed were looking at what other destinations are available.

A must have App if you are visiting Yellowstone. It is very precise and doesnt have long annoying commentaries. Dont forget to take your charger.

If youre going to Yellowstone you must get this app. it works extremely well despite no cellular service in the park. With very little planning we were able to drive the loop and see important sites without missing cool stuff along the way. The app also contains interesting scientific info regarding wildlife plants etc . A must have!

Great app! Used at Yellowstone and saved on a bus tour. Would use this anywhere. Great information, perfect instructions with some history and science thrown in as a bonus. Only downfall is keep your battery charger handy. 5 stars!

I am not one to give out 5 stars on anything unless it REALLY deserves it. This is a great app. We just came back from Yellowstone. We did our homework in preparation of the trip. We bought several books and maps. The week before we left someone mentioned this app. I took a chance and down loaded it. Forgot about it until we were driving in. We turned it in and were amazed at the great info it gave and the advance notice of must see sights as we drove. Does not work off phone service but GPS which worked all the time. This is a must for anyone going to Yellowstone. Loaded with facts I had not found in other books and online. If you are going to Yellowstone, buy this app. You will be glad you did
